School Meals
If your child would like a school meal then it is essential that we know numbers in advance so that the kitchen can order enough stock to cope with numbers. School meals can be ordered using Parent Pay, by the Thursday of the week before they are needed, at a cost of £2.50 per meal. The school currently offers a main meal, a vegetarian option, a jacket potato and a school packed lunch option. These can all be selected when orders are placed. All allergens are listed on the weekly menus. Currently, children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are all entitled to fully funded free school meals.
The menus for each week are available for you to see on Parent Pay when you book.
Snacks
Cold filtered water is available for all children, at all times; children need to have a named water bottle in school. Until your child’s 5th birthday, they will also receive free milk every day at school.
All children who are in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are provided with a fruit snack each day as part of a Government initiative.
Children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 are welcome to bring in fruit, vegetables or another healthy snack from home to have at break time.
Please don't send children to school with packets of crisps, chocolate bars or sweet biscuits. Thank you.
