Online Safety @ St Catherine's

At St Catherine's, we believe that Learning about e-safety is a vital life skill. Empowering children at an early age with the knowledge to safeguard themselves and their personal information is something that needs to be nurtured throughout school to see them into adult life.

The children learn all about keeping themselves safe online through our E-safety units in each year group as part of our computing curriculum.

All children understand and have signed the schools acceptable use policy and these are displayed in every classroom.

St Catherine's Online Safety Prayer

Let us switch on...

Our devices,

Which art connected,

Hallowed be wi-fi.

Thy screens be clean,

Thy words not be mean,

Let us not hide away in our bedrooms.

Give us today,

Pop-ups x'ed away.

Teach us not to type what we wouldn't say,

and remember to screen shot right away.

Lead us not to bad websites,

And deliver us from strangers.

For thine is the power,

Of computer safety

Forever and ever
